GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the relationship between BiffSolutions Inc. (“the Company”) and any person (“the Customer”) wishing to rent a vehicle via our rental service.

2. Conditions of access and use of the service

The Customer must meet the following conditions:

  • Be at least 25 years old
  • Provide a valid credit card for the deposit.
  • Accept these Terms and Conditions and the special rental conditions.
  • Possess a driver's license valid in Canada.

3. Booking process

Reservations can be made online, by phone or in an agency.

The Customer will receive a confirmation by email with the rental details

The Company reserves the right to cancel a reservation in case of non-compliance with the conditions.

4. Rates and payments

  • Payment can be made by credit card or any other accepted method.
  • A deposit in proportion to the vehicle is required before taking charge of the vehicle.
  • If the mileage limit (200 km/day) is exceeded, a supplement of $0.60 per kilometer will be applied.
  • The rental rate is defined by the choice of vehicle and the duration of the rental.
  • The prices displayed are in Canadian dollars and may or may not include taxes depending on the Company's policy.

5. Vehicle pick-up and return

  • The vehicle must be returned at the agreed date and time at an additional cost.
  • Any damage to the vehicle is the responsibility of the Customer, unless insurance is taken out.
  • The Customer must present their driver's license and credit card at the time of pick-up.

6. Insurance and liability

  • In the event of an accident, the Customer must immediately inform the Company and follow the procedure indicated in the rental contract.
  • The Company cannot be held responsible in the event of misuse of the vehicle by the Customer.
  • The Tenant must have F.A.Q 27 car insurance covering damage to the vehicle.

7. Cancellation and refund

  • Cancellation fees may apply depending on the delay before the rental date.‍
  • The Customer may cancel his reservation under certain conditions.

8. Terms of use and additional fees

  • The vehicle must be returned in the same clean condition.
  • A cleaning fee of $120 may be charged for non-compliance.
  • In the event of seizure or impoundment, all costs are borne by the Tenant.
  • The Tenant is responsible for tickets and parking fees.
  • It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the vehicle.
  • In case of non-compliance, a penalty of $150 will be applied.

9. Protection of personal data

  • Information collected during the reservation is treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • The Customer has the right to access, rectify and delete his personal data.
    • 10. Applicable law and disputes
    These Terms and Conditions are subject to the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute will be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
