The minimum driver age is 21, with a valid driver's license in good standing. Photo ID will be required at departure. By law, all riders (drivers or passengers) must be at least about 1.35 m (54 in) tall, so their feet rest flat on the floor or footrests. A liability waiver must be signed before departure.
All tours are led by a certified, experienced guide. Participants must follow the guide's instructions at all times. Failure to follow safety rules or reckless driving can result in the activity being stopped immediately, with no refund.
Vehicles are covered by commercial liability insurance. A $4,000 deductible applies for damage to the vehicle caused by negligence, collision, or misuse. The driver is responsible for any damage caused by reckless driving, driving off authorized trails, or using alcohol or drugs before or during the activity. No coverage applies in cases of dangerous behavior, driving under the influence, or failure to follow the guide's instructions.
The certified guide, fuel, access to the FQCQ federated trails and group supervision are included. A helmet and safety gear are provided.
A valid photo ID and a credit card for the security deposit. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC) is required in Quebec; if you don't have one, a temporary permit can be obtained on-site the same day.
